Best Podcast Voice Ever “I only discovered your podcasts yesterday. I have to say you have the best podcast voice I have ever heard. The first few lines of your piece Filthy Voodoo Rhymes tell it all. Too bad you quit making podcasts. I am now listening to a sampling of your most recent acoustic record, it reminds me a little of Kristin Hersch's 1994 Hips and Makers, sung with a male voice. Just wanted to tell you to keep up the good work. And maybe do another podcast ;-) " - Maria Technosux

Fascinated By Your Words “Not being an American myself I don't think I have a real license to give a critical review to your words. However, that's some wonderfully powerful writing and in some scary way reminded me of myself in your writing style, particularly when backing up yourself by stating what others that disagree with you may think. Well delivered: I heard a true sense of real anger. Thanks a lot. I was fascinated by your words." - markcoffield

Cruisey Brilliance “I really liked the vibe straight away. Nice sounds on the gats and kit. This is a great unpretentious song, love the lyrics, evocative and great delivery. This just cruises along, not all try hard like a lot of the stuff here. Good job giving it straight up. Cool." - maxtolerance

Groovy! “I really like this music. This is really chill, and I can listen to it when I'm in a really mellow mood. Even if I'm in a hyper mood, this music will calm me down!" - thirdfloorview

Bob Dylan "Granted you sing much better than Dylan, but the style really is remarkably reminiscent, especially the the attention given to lyrics over a simple melody. Very evocative language, which is very effective. I really like the chord progression in the chorus, and the overall arrangement. This is a solid song." - Jmade from Chicago, Illinois

A little Dr. John influence "A sparsely backed folkrock with a lead vocalist who has a tinge of Dr. John in his voice (which is good, I think). A rather angst-ridden folkrocker that should fare well. Keep up the good work." - JounceKuda from Leaksville, North Carolina

Dylan Returns "I like the intro.. It's amazing how many people sing like Bob Dylan. This song combines the feel of a Neil Diamond song with the vocals of Dylan. He was a great influence on the whole folk scene. I'm just glad Tiny Tim didn't make it as big, cause I do a terrible falsetto. Ok. Ok. Now the guitar is clean and does it's job, but the lyrics... Ahh the lyrics they make me wonder if Dylan has risen from the dead.....Oh he's not? Have you seem him lately." - squarewring from Maryland

Great lyrics "Very entertaining, engaging song. Great lyrics, especially "It's nuclear, you asshole." I like the singer's voice and suspect that he could sing anything from simple folk songs to hard rock songs really well. The guitar and arrangement are bare-bones and simple but are all that is needed. Nice!" - BillSGME from Portland, Maine

Armadillos in the mist. “Very interesting intro. I love the guitar work on this one. I love that rolling guitar sound. Most of your lyrics couldn't ring anymore true. It definitely made me think. The production sounds good. This kind of song doesn't need any more than this one has. I can tell that you already know that. Good Song." - chrisjones from Gretna, Nebraska

A Dylan for the new age “Heartfelt lyrics are the first thing to note here. The singer wears his heart on his sleeve. Politically I agree with all that he's saying, which makes me very sympathetic. The tune is simple and effective, just a simple strum on an acoustic, ideal for the song where lyrics are the message. Think early Bob Dylan and you can see what the idea is. The tune is cool, the voice is great, the idea is groovy." - - collette from United Kingdom

Folk with a Spanish flavor. “Incredibly unique guitar playing, skilled and well executed.." - LJones from Orangevale, California

Yeah! “IndieRock baby. Good stuff. I enjoyed the guitar. Good vocals and lyrics. Somebody has been listening to a lot of Dylan. As an asshole who went to Harvard, I say cheers. Good job." - Adam Brown from Hartselle, Alabama

Groove Solid “I love a good acoustic guitar groove and this is just that. Electric guitarist shows great restraint during vocals (very rare thing). Lead guitar is just tasty all around. I think the parts of the lyrics which I could clearly hear were cool in a positive way. And Mr. vox if you didn't already know you have a great set of pipes. Deep growly goodness." - simontrue

Nice Commercial For Superbowl “Right away it grabs me. Whether you agree or not your gonna want to listen to it right after the first ten seconds. You definitely have a point of view coming across here." - zantac76

Finally... Some Spoken Word “I love it. I have seen many performances of spoken word and I think it is a genre that people don't give a chance. The performance and vocals are tight precise and clear. I like the rawness. This type of performance embraces the idea of freedom of speech so it should be used, which adds to the integrity of this track." - kevinfromlondon

Hello Jim Morrison “America is the land of the hypocrite-violent femmes- brilliant. Great delivery, pace, emphasis...and most of all very passionate and elaborate words. You kept my attention and grabbed me off the bat." - Tubar

Unnerving “This dude has great diction and strong ideas. Excellent performance." - erikamiller6279

An artist creative beyond words “When I think about how I would describe Jeremy's music, his lyrics, his style, the one word that seems to prevail in my mind is ARTIST...a true artist that is passionate about his work and creative beyond words/description. I find that's it difficult to compare him to others as he does not fit easily into any category and has a unique quality that makes him very original. His body of work inspires me to question mainstream thinking, get fired up about change, and live my life with intensity (all things that true artists do)!!!! ” - Lisa

Super creative, cool and intriguing! “MUCH respect for this message….strong imagery! ‘Folk/Rock’ in the vein of Dylan, Leonard Cohen…. I even heard a little Springsteen! I really respect the message of this song and the way you just spit out your perceptions without candy-coating. I like the energy and attitude a lot. The vocal sounds great and convincing. The sparse guitar vocal style of this is bold and allows nothing to get in the way of your words and message - nice! I imagine the college circuit would eat this up…… find the liberal kids who will dig this message. I like your moxie and wish you the best.” - TAXI

Extra points for bashing Bush “Lyrics are the total strength of this song. I’m laughing out loud, and the cleverness of this critique is poetic, poignant, and well-performed. The guitar riff is good and carries the song through, and helps the listener focus on the lyrics. Did I mention how good the lyrics are?” - mdb172
Let Freedom Ring “And that freedom is the freedom to let people say what they feel without the terror of being trivialized, criticized, or ostracized by speaking these words in a public forum. I give the creator of this piece the credit for having the guts to speak his mind in such a narrow minded society that we live in today. - thepcp
Cool Poetry “I like the alliteration, and I definitely agree with most of the points you bring up about America. It’s abrasive, but I think that’s what cutting edge poetry usually will be. I like the fact that you refer to yourself and the listener in your poem, that’s not something I hear too often. I like your diction, you talk fast and I can still understand everything you say; I’d say you should be able to sell a lot of your albums in the United Blue States of America! Best of luck to you, watch out for the character assassination I’m sure you’ll be subjected to.” - ajp3
Masturbating Pigs “That was great! Preach on brother! Wow, that’s the same way I feel. One great man said we should have a revolution every 100 years to keep the government in check. Wow, that was great! Mood was fed up with everything, like everyone should be! Performance was great! All around kick ass!” - onelandtomany
AMEN BROTHA! “I would love to sample this for one of my songs. Some interesting thoughts, should be a talk radio host, course FCC would be all over this.” - fleari
Making Dylan Proud “The intro brings singer songwriter attention to the music right away, especially with the Dylan Delivery in style and vocal tone. The music is just that, singer songwriter simple, acoustic guitar and voice. The tone of the guitar is natural, solid, and sounds executed with experience. The lyrics are catchy and hold a subject for that day to day funny, we all need money. The playback is full and everything can be heard, nice work, and good listening.” - dylanbrewer
Jeremy “Passion and talent explode from this work. It is inspired and moving to the core. Forge on Jeremy, forge on!” - Sprith2o
Relentless, Unforgiving! “Jeremy’s songs are unforgiving and relentless. They represent a truth in society. I’m very happy to see an artist writing material like this.” - Sid
Thank God someone is speaking their mind. The spoken word recording here is a virulent, angry diatribe against American bullying, shallowness, greed, violence and hypocrisy. The reader/writer of the piece hits many targets and warns against the closing of the totalitarian loop that has historically existed here since the demolition of the Native American people through the assassinations of ’60s leaders to the very frightening Orwellian existence of today’s leaders. That said, thank God someone is speaking their mind.” - thepcp
Fearless!!!!!! - Did I mention Fearless?!!!! “Will make you wonder what this developing talent will become with even more experience. Lyrics will knock you right off your complacent ass, and the guitar and drums will control the dance!!!!!!!! Severe Talent.” - Cram
Nice “I don’t really understand all of these big words. Sounds really smart though. I like prostitutes. And drinking. Guess that makes me American!” - StorkNest
Bitter to the point. “Yikes! This guy is on fire and is not gonna take it anymore. Great insight on this big’ol mess we call society. But no matter how screwed up it really is, There’s no place like home Daddy-O.” - jimmygrind
Sweetness “Reminds me a little of Johnny Cash. Great chorus. The lyrics are very patriotic, and keep you into the song. Good guitar playing.” -Bluezman
Vocals driven… “It’s heady music. Alot of lyrics. It works pretty well over the straight up acoustic guitar. Great recording on the guitar. That’s a well written song. A little heavy for the pop ear. And I mean that as a compliment.” - Will West
This Album Rocks! “In summary, this album rocks!!!! As someone who has felt very discouraged with the music that has been generated as of late, I have to say that this album is very refreshing. It is artistic, creative, unique, and full of raw power!!!! Has renewed my faith in the true essence of music.” - Lisa
OOOOOOOkkkkkkkkkkkkk “I was waiting for the band to kick in but this guy’s “ranting” was pretty damn good. He said everything I want to say, other than America being a disease. I have to say this guy has a very good vocabulary and sounds like he’d be good on talk radio (minus the cursing). I give it a thumbs up just for being different, angry, yet intelligent.” - AKellam
America is… “…people like you. I like this. It speaks a profound truth. The speaker has a very pleasent voice that translates the rage, fear, anger and confusion well. I’m a little scared of this guy…he’s like Tyler Durden the poet.” - lambchoptrolley
