Best Podcast Voice Ever “I only discovered your podcasts yesterday. I have to say you have the best podcast voice I have ever heard. The first few lines of your piece Filthy Voodoo Rhymes tell it all. Too bad you quit making podcasts. I am now listening to a sampling of your most recent acoustic record, it reminds me a little of Kristin Hersch's 1994 Hips and Makers, sung with a male voice. Just wanted to tell you to keep up the good work. And maybe do another podcast ;-) " - Maria Technosux
Fascinated By Your Words “Not being an American myself I don't think I have a real license to give a critical review to your words. However, that's some wonderfully powerful writing and in some scary way reminded me of myself in your writing style, particularly when backing up yourself by stating what others that disagree with you may think. Well delivered: I heard a true sense of real anger. Thanks a lot. I was fascinated by your words." - markcoffield
Cruisey Brilliance “I really liked the vibe straight away. Nice sounds on the gats and kit. This is a great unpretentious song, love the lyrics, evocative and great delivery. This just cruises along, not all try hard like a lot of the stuff here. Good job giving it straight up. Cool." - maxtolerance
Groovy! “I really like this music. This is really chill, and I can listen to it when I'm in a really mellow mood. Even if I'm in a hyper mood, this music will calm me down!" - thirdfloorview
Bob Dylan "Granted you sing much better than Dylan, but the style really is remarkably reminiscent, especially the the attention given to lyrics over a simple melody. Very evocative language, which is very effective. I really like the chord progression in the chorus, and the overall arrangement. This is a solid song." - Jmade from Chicago, Illinois
A little Dr. John influence "A sparsely backed folkrock with a lead vocalist who has a tinge of Dr. John in his voice (which is good, I think). A rather angst-ridden folkrocker that should fare well. Keep up the good work." - JounceKuda from Leaksville, North Carolina
Dylan Returns "I like the intro.. It's amazing how many people sing like Bob Dylan. This song combines the feel of a Neil Diamond song with the vocals of Dylan. He was a great influence on the whole folk scene. I'm just glad Tiny Tim didn't make it as big, cause I do a terrible falsetto. Ok. Ok. Now the guitar is clean and does it's job, but the lyrics... Ahh the lyrics they make me wonder if Dylan has risen from the dead.....Oh he's not? Have you seem him lately." - squarewring from Maryland
Great lyrics "Very entertaining, engaging song. Great lyrics, especially "It's nuclear, you asshole." I like the singer's voice and suspect that he could sing anything from simple folk songs to hard rock songs really well. The guitar and arrangement are bare-bones and simple but are all that is needed. Nice!" - BillSGME from Portland, Maine
Armadillos in the mist. “Very interesting intro. I love the guitar work on this one. I love that rolling guitar sound. Most of your lyrics couldn't ring anymore true. It definitely made me think. The production sounds good. This kind of song doesn't need any more than this one has. I can tell that you already know that. Good Song." - chrisjones from Gretna, Nebraska
A Dylan for the new age “Heartfelt lyrics are the first thing to note here. The singer wears his heart on his sleeve. Politically I agree with all that he's saying, which makes me very sympathetic. The tune is simple and effective, just a simple strum on an acoustic, ideal for the song where lyrics are the message. Think early Bob Dylan and you can see what the idea is. The tune is cool, the voice is great, the idea is groovy." - - collette from United Kingdom
Folk with a Spanish flavor. “Incredibly unique guitar playing, skilled and well executed.." - LJones from Orangevale, California
Yeah! “IndieRock baby. Good stuff. I enjoyed the guitar. Good vocals and lyrics. Somebody has been listening to a lot of Dylan. As an asshole who went to Harvard, I say cheers. Good job." - Adam Brown from Hartselle, Alabama
Groove Solid “I love a good acoustic guitar groove and this is just that. Electric guitarist shows great restraint during vocals (very rare thing). Lead guitar is just tasty all around. I think the parts of the lyrics which I could clearly hear were cool in a positive way. And Mr. vox if you didn't already know you have a great set of pipes. Deep growly goodness." - simontrue
Nice Commercial For Superbowl “Right away it grabs me. Whether you agree or not your gonna want to listen to it right after the first ten seconds. You definitely have a point of view coming across here." - zantac76
Finally... Some Spoken Word “I love it. I have seen many performances of spoken word and I think it is a genre that people don't give a chance. The performance and vocals are tight precise and clear. I like the rawness. This type of performance embraces the idea of freedom of speech so it should be used, which adds to the integrity of this track." - kevinfromlondon
Hello Jim Morrison “America is the land of the hypocrite-violent femmes- brilliant. Great delivery, pace, emphasis...and most of all very passionate and elaborate words. You kept my attention and grabbed me off the bat." - Tubar
Unnerving “This dude has great diction and strong ideas. Excellent performance." - erikamiller6279
An artist creative beyond words “When I think about how I would describe Jeremy's music, his lyrics, his style, the one word that seems to prevail in my mind is ARTIST...a true artist that is passionate about his work and creative beyond words/description. I find that's it difficult to compare him to others as he does not fit easily into any category and has a unique quality that makes him very original. His body of work inspires me to question mainstream thinking, get fired up about change, and live my life with intensity (all things that true artists do)!!!! ” - Lisa
Super creative, cool and intriguing! “MUCH respect for this message….strong imagery! ‘Folk/Rock’ in the vein of Dylan, Leonard Cohen…. I even heard a little Springsteen! I really respect the message of this song and the way you just spit out your perceptions without candy-coating. I like the energy and attitude a lot. The vocal sounds great and convincing. The sparse guitar vocal style of this is bold and allows nothing to get in the way of your words and message - nice! I imagine the college circuit would eat this up…… find the liberal kids who will dig this message. I like your moxie and wish you the best.” - TAXI
